Its rare to find vegan restaurants especially of this quality. The food came out very quickly. I got the sesame chicken and chicken satay and thai ice tea. All of it was delicious and flavorful. Ive missed eating chicken satay since becoming a vegetarian and the texture on Mamak’s chicken was perfect as was the peanut sauce.

The food is amazing!! The service is great! The atmosphere was peaceful. Can't wait to return. We had the veggie dumplings, tangerine chicken and Mongolian beef!

Absolutely delicious Malaysian food for a reasonable price. The flavors were authentic and similar to what I ate in Kuala Lumpur, and portion sizes were big too. We enjoyed the entrees a lot, and would recommend skipping the relatively small portioned appetizers if trying to stay within budget. Recommend the Lemak curry and beyond rendang!

We had the Lemak Curry (which comes with steamed rice) and it tasted great. And we also had the pineapple fried rice which was very good.

Stumbled upon this vegan spot on Buford Highway and can’t believe I hadn’t come across it before. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the area. The space is clean and surprisingly spacious for the location, though I did find myself wishing there was an outdoor seating option—especially on a nice day. The menu has a good variety, and the food is thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients. Nothing felt overly heavy or greasy, which I appreciate. Service was straightforward and efficient. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re in the area and looking for something plant-based that’s satisfying without trying too hard

We absolutely loved our first experience at Mamak Kitchen. We tried the Naan and dumplings for appetizers. They were both amazing. I can’t recommend one over the other so just get both. lol My fiance ordered the magnolia beef and I ordered the sweet honey chicken. The magnolia beef was flavorful. The sweet honey chicken wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t order it again because it was entirely too sweet and reminded me of orange chicken you buy from a grocery store frozen section. For our first drink before eating we ordered the butterfly pea tea which was absolutely delicious and very cute. With our entrees we ordered a Thai tea and hibiscus refresher. The Thai tea was great, but my fiance wasn’t too thrilled with the hibiscus refresher. I would have given this place 5 stars, but the server wasn’t really very attentive, but the service was good. She was in the employee area, but never checked on us so we had to call her over. The ambiance is very nice and the food was served hot and expeditiously. Overall we would visit again and we would recommend it to others.

I'm not one to order imitation meat very often, but if you enjoy flavorful mixed vegetable dishes like me, this is the spot. The curryflower appetizer is the best I've ever had; I could have ordered two but just one is a great portion size. The Singapore rice noodles are delicious. I might ask them to stir fry the noodles a little longer to make them a bit crispy, but even as served I can't rate them anything less than five stars.

Sesame chicken was delicious, the vegetable fried rice was good, as well and my food came out quickly, However my service was not the best, I had to get my own straw, get my waitress attention, to pay, needed napkins. I did tip my waitress 20% because it was Mother's Day, and the prices were reasonable. I do recommend this restaurant and I will go back again.
